Need new stuff
I got a '97 Ford F-150 with a 281. It's a beautiful truck, and it's towed countless chevy's and dodges out of the snow in the winter time, even 2 or 3 jeeps
. Anyway, I've been having problems with the brake lines lately. Last year, I replaced them completely, and about 2 weeks ago they went again. Are there any better brake lines I could use? I'd also like to look into new brakes as a whole, and I have 2 questions of that: 1: What are the best cheapest brakes I can get?(e.g. slotted, drilled, etc.)
2. Can I swap my rear drums, which are useless
So in March or so, when I get the cash saved, I want to fix the beast up. It's been 4 years without an undercoat, and Nova Scotia is brutal with the salt. So I need the heat plate above the muffler, and a lot of other stuff. What kind of work is involved with completely removing the body from the frame, and what would the costs be approximately in Canada? I'm also getting a new exhaust, and I'm hopin one of you might know the price of true duals, not any cat back systems. Also, whats involved with gutting a cat?
Thanks for your help
Craig
