front bumper mounting bracket
Maybe this is the right area for this. My front bumper on my f150 was crashed in. Ive bought the front bumper and the "mounting plate"
for it. The only problem is the "mounting bracket"
that the mounting plate attaches to is bent. Since it is welded to the frame ive tried to bend it back to shape but it looks like crap and also i know ive weakened it using the torch to bend it. My question is, is there any place that sells that "mounting bracket" that welds to the frame or am i gonna have put my metalworking skills into building one that might or might not work? I dont really know the terminology of these parts when i say mounting plate im talking about the plate with 4 holes on each corner that attaches to the front bumper. When i say mounting bracket i mean the bracket thats welded to the frame to hold the assembly up. well i tried to explain myself!! LOL
