Hey White Noise!
I believe that the Tuskegee National forest has a few doe days, but your going to have to get with the rangers on wire rd. I don't hunt, but they had a nice rifle range out there, although I have not been there in years.

O.K. thanks anyway. I have been to the range a couple times. It's nice except for the 50 yard logs they have are kind of down low and harder to see. I've talked to one ranger at the checking station and he wouldn't tell me if they have many deer, quality deer, or what. He basically wanted me to figure out myself. I scouted it out in a few places(not many) and found only minor trails. Again thanks anyway

Thudpucker here, located near Bethel, west of Cullman.
I'm a regular visitor at Moulton Speedway, North Alabama speedway.
We visit the Hellraising Huntsville Hackers Hockey Harbingers, Huntsville stars Baseball, the Rome Braves, and maybe we'll see the BHam Barons some time this summer.
I do wish those Hurricans would stop dumping tree parts all over my place though.

We can all meet somewhere for Coffee or Catfish once a month or so....cant we?

I lived in Alaska for 30 years. We drank Coffee at all hours up there.
Suddenly I'm in the South and you only get Coffee ONCE, in the morning!!!
OHMGOSH the withdrawles....and the dirty looks I got when I am shocked at not finding coffee in the after noon's.
In thier faces is the LOOK....."We dont care how you did it where you come from!"
"You heah now!"
So I'm slowly learning to enjoy my 'un-sweet' Tea with dinner.
I never had Catfish in Alaska. I know it's in Resturants there, but I never ate any of it.
Ignorance, yeah yeah, but then I married a girl from Louisiana.
And now, down here, I can tell you of three good Catfish places near my home.

I think we should have a Boil some time this Fall. Everybody bring the Pot and some Catfish or Crappie or ??? and we'll start them cookers in the morning and eat about 2:PM.
Bring the little Rodents and whatever keeps them busy... you know how all that goes.
So where can we do this?
Somebody knows of a big field we can use.
I'll be the cleanup supervisor, since I cant be a Cook (there'd be a mansluaghter conviction if you let me in on the Food prep)

Maybe we can send a PM to all the BAMA Rangers?

Ok I think I understand where you are coming from. I don't know where we could meet but if there is anyway I can be there I will, and I will be more than happy to help out(and pig out).
