thanks, great site.
P.S. For all you folks from other states: We have really big snakes here, and mean saw briars. Locusts as big as cats. This is why the cost of living is less!
Looks like we have a Chapter in Alabama now. Everyone see the thread about voting in a Leader. Brian was nominated and seconded. Anymore nominations and or votes need to be posted on that thread to make us official, I'm guessing. Anyway, it's great to have a forum to get to know and chat with other Ford truck owners in Alabama. I own a 2000 F150 Supercab, 65 F100, and the wife drives a Lincoln Navigator...only cuz I got a really good deal on it. She only drives trucks too. I bought her a mini van in 96 and thought she was going to divorce me. She likes the F150, just thinks it under powered with a 4.2. I'm trying to by a 73-79 F250 or F350 supercab or crewcab. That is what drew me to this web site. Now I've found out how increase hp in my 4.2 and met a bunch of new people. This is a great site.
What a great forum this is. It's great to connect with other Ford owners. Everyone keep posting and coming back to our page. I'm hoping to get more members from the Montgomery area. I saw were we had a couple already. Spread the word.
The big city of Munford,Al checking in here. BTW, everyone who thinks we are all rednecks, inbred, and hillbillies, you are correct, don't move here, we'll only bring you down with us.....ha-ha, actually that was a lame attempt at keeping our state from becoming overpopulated and crowded like some southern cities already are. I tell 'em , if it's so bad, go home.
Zeb in Danville, AL sounding off. I'm about 45 miles south-west from the Huntsville-Madison area. And I'm only about 15-20 miles from Decatur. I just purchased a 1975 F150 XLT. Love the truck but its Red and I'm an Auburn fan. Gotta be from bama to understand that one boys.
Ken Miller in Huntsville/Hartselle/Danville/Moulton...etc, and a whole bunch of other places. Mainly Huntsville, but have lived in all of em. I got a 97 F-250LD Ext. Cab 4x4. So far been a pain to find wheels and a lift for but lookin better each day.
Hey KennyG228, do you hunt? Because I just started Auburn University and have looked at Tuskegee National Forest(TNF) for hunting whitetail but didn't see any sign. So I was thinking maybe I'm not looking in the wrong places or TNF is the wrong place.
