ok so folks.. seems like we have a bunch of folks here now... this thread has been going on for a while... so any one up for a meet or something possibly late summer (think end of august or somthing?)

We are probably all interested in a meet. Its just the problem of arranging a convenient time and place.
Maybe we should divide the state into four quads. Using BHam as the center point.
The NE Guys find a place that's central to them, etc etc. I'm in Cullman so I'd be in the two north Quads.
Just a thought.
We could also meet at some big doins. Say a Football game, carnival, etc.
One guy suggested a Drag race. Maybe a Campground, or one of the larger boat ramps at a large lake.
Maybe somebody has a large field.
I'm too old to be drivng at night anymore so if its gonna get dark, it's gonna be an overnight thing for me.
But Im interested in meeting. I have some ideas to Rap over.

Well, I would enjoy a get-2-gether where I could bring ma bar-b-q. My upcomming work schedule shouldn't be quite such a bear... so I should have a weekend or two available, overnight things... eh.. its possible but I have a 9 month old and a wife due w/my son in Oct. SooOOOOooo it would probably have to be a hotel for us... anyone who's had a pregnant wife can and should attest to the fact that they dont do the "camping out sleeping on the ground $h!*" (those are her words not mine btw)

Doc, I didn't mean that all of us should overnight. I meant that if it gets dark, I'll have to spend the night.
We should be able to make this an afternoon to evening thing. Four to six hours some Friday or Saturday.
Maybe even in the middle of the week if the driving is not too far.
