Cop Cars:

The strangest I ever seen was in northern Calif in the late 70's, I was going to Sacramento from Yuba City out the back way & I had pulled over at a little country store & got some beer & had just got back in my truck when along comes a White Station Wagon, Ford with CHP on the side, That & 1 rather long arial & spots was all that gave it away. Comming up behind it or it comming up behind you, you would never think it was a CHP or any kind of cop. I'd spotted a couple of Ford trucks with CHP on them but never a Wagon before & if he would have been just a little bit later he'd have got me.

One of the local upscale cities here has a marked Dodge PT/ Cruiser. What a waste of taxpayer's dollars.

Indiana uses a lot less camaros now than they did.. A few years ago there was a bad fire somwhere (an arson I think), and they sent every camaro from the indianapolis area to chase the guy, well long story short out of 10 or 12, something like 8 blew motors or transmissions. THey are nice cars yes, but not meant to be driven hard for long periods of time.
