289 Ident
Need some info if possible on a 289 I just picked up. The original tag is still on it and it reads:
289 - 66 - 10
5-K - 236S
I know its a 66 but was wondering what the other info on the tag is.

I don't know anyone who would be able to decipher that tag number. If you can get the casting number off the block, near the starter, then you should be able to get a little more information, like what vehicle the engine originated from. later
