I found this website and thought it was pretty funny. Apparently these guys have found a fun way of disposing of "troublesome" computer equipment. It's called We Blow I.T. Up. Check it out. http://www.weblowitup.com then click on the WEBLEWITUP tab to see the videos.
the only times when i feel like blowing/kicking my computer, is when my dial-up is EVEN slower than what it is. i did, though, one time hit it and it caused the hard drive to crash.. ouch, had to get a new HD.
Man, that was SWEET! I wonder how much business they get?
I was working at an electronics shop in Florida, and boredom was easily cured- we would take "dead" tv's and computer moniters up to the roof, and throw them in the dumpster. One of the tv's still kinda worked, so it was plugged into a long extension cord, and got a kick. I have never seen anything blow up like that before! It almost looked like the video, only it lit everything in the dumpster on fire.
America's favorite past-time IMHO. Nothing beats blowing up or destroying something that was giving you a hard time.
On the list:
Computer
Monitor
Printer (2)
Fan
TV
Microwave
Stereo (2)
Telephone (taken apart, put back together with firework wicks sticking out, videotaped with high quality camera and amazing in slo-mo)
And countless other things throughout my childhood....memories
That looks like FUN! Let's see, 2 cups of gunpowder, 10 blasting caps, and 100 yards with my deer rifle. I bet I can find a few things to blow up this weekend...
Man, my brother and I have been doing that for years. Never thought people would pay to have that done. We could have probably been filthy rich right now. Last thing we took out was an old JVC compact stereo. That thing was junk from day one. A while before that we had blown up a JVC television. I think I have an Aiwa stereo thats soon to be disposed of. Maybe I should get some video.
Every day!! We have figured that is why the hospital windows do not open here because then people will open them & toss the computers out or jump out of boredom.
Frustration with computers runs at a pretty high level in my life.. every so often, I get too much hassle, and then I DO kick the thing, throw it out of a window, or similar destructive passtimes. I have not yet tried to blow one up. The last one was at the beginning of last week, a Gateway bit the dust, so I kicked it a few times.....
I would go to the website to watch the fun; but... My linux system is more frustrating than anyone could ever conceive - it can't play video.... But it hasn't frustrated me in any other way, so it remains un-kicked.
i spent 3-30 round clips out of my AK-47 on my old PC.....it was a POS 133mhz AMD that wouldnt even run counterstrike.....i was pretty mad at it needless to say so i shot the living hell out of it....90 brushes with an angry 7.62x39 foe had it loopy.....i was smiling when i threw it in the dumpster at work lol
