Headers for a 360~

If got a 77 250 Custom cab+bed sitting on a 74 1 ton frame with a 360+Np435 and was wondering when i look for headers what info do i use..the 74 frame or the 77 Cab? Or if anyone knows of a set of headers that will fit please direct me to them. thx

go by the year of the frame because the cabs are basically identical from 73-77.

I've got kinda the same problem, an FE motor in a 78 truck, so i looked at headers for a 302 and they were the same part numbers for 70 to 79, so i'm asuming the frame must be the same. So i'm gonna get headers for the motor year and they should work.............................i hope.

Yes...the cab mounts where dead on. I was lucky with that one cuz i never looked at em untill the cab was set on the frame.

headers

FB, I would look for headers for a '74 1 ton. The body usually isn't in the way on header installs, but the frame crossmembers and stuff can make a big differance. DF

Thanks dino, ive got the headers and have them installed already. Fit great other then having to take engine off the pass. engine mount and jacking it up a good 2 inches. Nice equal length too!

for anyone who might care, i have a 1979 f150 4wd 390 and run hedman 89180 headers, if my memory serves me right 89120 is for 2wd.

HED-89120 off summit, make sure you get these if you have a 4WD. HED-89100 is for 2WD only! It says that its not equal length but its only 1/2" difference, not to noticable. $150 + Bought some silver header paint from Advanced auto and the paint isnt even showing age/wear. Looks great! Very pleased with them.
