Well lets see-Arkansas has the only diamond mine in the U.S. and anybody can go find one. The only good thing about the '90s was that it got him out of Arkansas. And the humidity in South Arkansas hits 100% about April and stays there until October.

We have diamonds here, you can just walk around and pick them up off the ground, they call them Lake County Diamonds...of course, they're just volcanic glass and not worth anything, but they're kinda purty. -TD

Serious as a heart attack. It's a state park located south of Murfeesboro, Ark. If I remember right it cost less than $5.00 to go in, bring your own digging equipment or rent some(small shovel, sieve, etc.) and find a spot to dig. Just a big field, and they turn the dirt every so often. Park employees can tell you if your find is real or glass. The biggest one I remember hearing about was about 7 carats uncut.You can keep em or sell em. This place is an ancient volcanic vent, and they get pushed up and out.
