At least 12 Guinuea pigs must die for every lot of every drug that is manufactured and sold in the U.S. . This includes evreything from aspirin to viagra. that doesn't include the ones we have to do in to prove the safety of the product before marketing....
So think twice the next time you chow a bunch of non-prescription painkillers because you "think you might be getting a headache" please.
yea, and all the ones that are leaving are moving here to colorado...thanks
and what the heck is a "half calf moca caffe latte" anyhow
Don't feel bad, I don't know either. You'd have to ask the yuppies and poseurs from the southern end of the state. (The ones that don't drive Ford trucks) Up here we have a lot of the same problems as the surrounding states, with the southerners getting tired of all the smog, noise, crime, and overpopulation and moving north, and bringing all that junk with them. This state needs to be split, right about Fresno, and they can keep all the current laws and we'll make new ones based on the better laws in Oregon and Nevada. We'll keep all our water, though! -TD
The closest thing we have to mountains in the Houston area of Texas are the freeway overpasses. And No, I don't have any oil wells or heads of cattle on my land

Do you work at a drug company cause I do and never ran across this.
Some information on Iowa? Uhm...we don't have an accent. Up North you might run into a Dakota-influenced person...down South here you run into them dern Missouri hicks (Not you Roger..you just live on the wrong side of the border!). Other then that...we're 'neutral.'
Oh..people in California don't know where Iowa is. It's a fact. The whole time I was out there with my girlfriend..nobody knew where Iowa was. SHE even has to explain.
There is the largest and most dense population of Coyotes in the world- Webb county
The largest and most dense population of Whitetail deer is on the Edwards Plateau better known as the Texas Hillcountry.
If you are standing in downtown Pandale, you are over 80 miles to the next town. Downtown consists of an often closed General Store- that's it folks!
The State actually surrounds the Free State of McMullen.
Texas never ratified the Constitution and some residents are calling for a Free State of Texas
Two largest crops for Texas are peanuts and cotton
There are a group of old veterans that call themselves the Confederate Air Force and they have the largest collection of still flying, antique, combat aircraft in the world.
Including its lakes, Texas has the third longest shoreline in the USA.
People who live in or visit Vancouver or Victoria BC don't get a sun tan......the actually Rust.
Aw, you're just jealous.
In Vancouver, you can go skiing on a ski hill, and within 45 minutes in most cases, you can be suntanning on the beach afterwards. (Usually during the late ski season.)
The "North Shore" is reputed to have the best mountain biking in the world.
And now for the best one: True British Columbians can spot an Alberta driver without having to refer to the license plates. (In some cases, they already changed to BC plates anyway.)
It doesnt rain NEARLY as much in Seattle as people think, but if you are planning on moving here, IT RAINS CONSTANTLY.... try Cali instead...
My little piece of info: Just because Spokane is in the same state as Seattle doesn't mean it EVER rains here. Whenever I tell people I'm from Washington they say "Oh yeah . . . it rains there all the time doesn't it?" NO! It's as dry as a friggin bone here as we're seperated from the coast by a mountain range that keeps all the moisture over that way. That's why half this state is ugly desert only a few miles away from dense rain forest.
And Crazy is right, Seattle isn't even as rainy as it's made out to be.

The CAF exists in the whole of 50 states, there is a base/museum near St Louis, and Osh Kosh Wisconsin has the largest airshow, and many of them show up there.
In Kentucky, a lot of people actually wear shoes, have an education and no appliances on the front porch. It is illegal to marry a first cousin in Kentucky.
The CAF was started in Harlingen, Texas and now is out of Midland , Texas. Yes, they have associates in other states. My hat is off to those guys as most folks wouldn't have a clue about the old aircraft if it weren't for them. I make most of the shows in Texas.
The Free state of McMullen goes back before Texas was a state. The folks in what we call McMullen County declared their independence separately from Texas and most folks down there still don't accept the State of Texas or the US Gov't. And a bunch won't/don't pay any income tax. The law is sometimes governed by who had the best aim when the gunfire started. Nice folks, just don't hack 'em off.
It's called general safety testing. I work in an animal facility for a small vaccine company. I won't go into details for obvious reasons. The government requires this test be done to make sure there wasn't any bleach or other foreign substance tainting the batch, as that happens sometimes when manufacturing equipment isn't maintained correctly, also to ensure purity of the batch. Most places contract this type of work out, and most people who don't work directly with the animals are not apprised of the information. What type of work you do within the company generally defines your access to information. The CFO of my company does not even have acces to the animal facility. Check into the bylaws and stuff for manufacture and approval. I don't remember the law specifically, but it's there... probably in the GLP/GMP manuals and such.
