Pulling a 30ft gooseneck equipment trailer, I much prefer the stability that a dually offers. Theres just no comparison between my Ford and my Chevy. I just feel safer in my dually.

drw parts swap to srw

Hey i love the way the dually drives, u can hit a corner at any speed and no body roll! Just sticks! But the snow is another story, and we get too much for the duals. I am looking for a parts swap for srw for my drw parts. East coast is too far away(Im on the west coast), BC, or AB, would be best.

i'd like to know if anyone ever bolted the factory rims to the rear with any clearance problems.
i'm not too wild about the drw in town.

skillawyer , what don't ya like about the DRW in town ? I don't see much difference in the way they handle .

it's hard to wedge it into a small parking space. sure, it handles great, but that extra 8" out the side makes manuvering tougher than it already is.

But ya still have the fenders hanging out there after ya switch the tires and rims . unless ya unbolt them , then ya have an ugly truck . The only place I think they get in the way is a parking lot , they block access to the people trying to get in the cars next to ya ( their doors won't open too wide because my truck's fender is in their way ) .
