tymar & straight pipe
awile it outta make my module really shine & hopefully help out egt's
mileage & such. Im also considering possibly adding a straight pipe?
But I really don't want to lose any low end power. Do you think with
the module & the tymar will be enough that the straight pipe wont
harm my low end?
If it is stock any LARGER DIAMETER exhaust wil bring an improvement. Replacing a stock AIS with the free flowing Tymar without upgrading exhaust will only get you marginal improvement.
If it is already an after market enhanced system and all you are going to do is remove the muffler then the benefit will not be nearly as noticable.
Keep one thing in mind Diesels move a lot of air, approximately twice as much as a comparable Gasser. In order to do that they must be able to BREATH both inhale and exhale. Any restriction in the airway will necessarily reduce the engines efficiency.
