Towing at close to max. weight of 03 CCdually, how much tire pressure should I run? Side walls of tire shows 80 psi, is this a safe pressure to run? Thanks for any comments!!

Just don't forget to lower the pressure back down after the trip, or it might rattle the fillings out of your teeth.........

i ran my truck with tires at 75-80 psi for a while. Rough ride and the center of the tires wore more quickly. I have sence lowered press to 65 front and 40 in rear (ford recomendations) and the ride is a bit smoother and handling isnt negativly affected too much. If i know im going to have alot of tounge weight or a fairly heavy trailer (more then 10-12k) then ill air up the rears a bit.

When I first got my DRW I aired the tires up to 80 psi and pulled my 5ver after about 50 miles I stoped and went to 70 and then to 65, With my load 65 is the number and tire wear is even. If not pulling and driving unloaded alot 50 seems like a good number for my truck
