the filters are made by champion labs right now, and they are very good quality for the price. They are a better filter than fram, and cheaper than the frams at walmart. I would buy them for any non-ford. Use a motorcraft filter on a ford though.
The oil is made by Warren Labs, it has a bit of a weak additive package, and tends to sheer a bit, but for 3k change intervals, I would not hesitate to run it in a beater or old car or truck.
The five quart jugs for 4 bucks are a good deal if you are on a budget, but good brands like havoline/chevron/gtx are only a couple bucks more and I would go with them over the supertech if planned on keeping the car.

Where it is made depends upon where you live. Wally buys from several sources. Warren is in Omaha, so if you are in the Upper Plains, chances are that you will get Warren.
Around here, Wally oil is made at the Shell plant in Houston. Someone who works at the plant regularly sees it running down the line and asked about it. The Shell Houston oil is distributed in 10 surrounding states, so if you are in Texas or the south central part of the US, you are probably getting Shell Wally oil. This helps explain why there are many reports of Wally oil being made by QuakerState. Shell bought out PZ/QS a couple of years ago. Looks like QS had the contract and Shell has kept supplying Wally.
Don't know if Warren is better or worse than Shell. Just different.
It's all API SL rated. I run abut 5000 mile change intervals.
