I thought that was their truck...wasn't sure though.

We've got a stupid fast Excursion floating around out there.

Diesel truck, upgraded turbo, little propane, little nitrous and a tune and you've got one fast truck!

We need to keep this centered on Superchips, and also not bring other vendors into this. They don't pay our bills. Posts edited.

No, it's privately owned and the guy who owns it doesn't race much anymore.

I won't be there as I have a lot of stuff to do here.

In a civil case, who knows what a jury would think about all that.
I agree that sometimes civil lawyers will dig out all your dirty laundry in an effort mine your dollars. With that said, why would anyone spend one minute worrying about something that hasn't happened and likely won't happen. There are plenty of ways to fry the computer if you can't reflash it.
I have instances all the time while passing that the truck bumps up against the stock rev limiter. I removed mine because the limiter can be dangerous by hanging me out just before I've finished the pass.
By the way, don't worry about what others think about you on this forum...The forum is VERY non PC.

Normally, aftermarket upgrades get at least twice as much torque as they do HP for a given upgrade, but Superchips shows a lot less than twice the HP for the torque.
Is there a specific reason for this, or just the way it turned out?

As explained before, these are the torque gains where it's making peak HP....these are NOT peak torque gains.
Ever notice when you look at dyno plots (for nearly any vehicle) the peak torque occurs in a different place then peak HP?
The torque and HP curves naturally are not the same, and the off peak torque gains are HUGE (and not advertised).
There are places where it makes 300 ft lbs more than stock and places where it makes more than that. Heck, by 3900 RPM, it's making more than 400 ft lbs more than stock, because stock tuning will not allow fueling at 3900 RPM and the engine stops making power shortly after 3600.

You can make numbers do anything you want.....and this is why we advertised our gains conservatively.

Do the dealers leave external evidence of a reflash?

I actually don't own a Powerstroke. A person can only own so many trucks. I have 3 Ford trucks myself, plus there are another two owned by FTE's minority partner. As soon as we settle into the new office/warehouse (just signed the lease last week and we started moving in this week) I'll be buying another new truck. Right now its a toss up between a 2004 F150 and the 6.0L. The dyno tests I'm doing will be on someone else's truck.
