I'm running a 2400 stall with a 3.70 posi gear. It feels like I'm going to break my neck every time I shoot out of a light.

I'm sure those are good heads but i don't think i can afford them, I'm only 17 and have to go to University or college in a couple years so maybe I'll find some Gt-40's cheap somewhere.
And will what heads will bolt up? any sbf heads or just 302 ones?

I wouldn't worry about getting heads. As far as daily driving goes you will probably stay under 5000 rpms, after market heads for the most part don't start producing power until the high rpm's. With the stock heads, and the above set-up you will still be around the 320hp mark.

Be careful with real cheap, it may be that way for a reason. Good luck

Don't worry I wouldn't have the work done unless I had the money to buy some new good heads if they didn't turn out.
