Has Ford improved the front disc qaulity on the new trucks??? I currently have a '99 V10 and I was constantly turning the front discs until I replaced them with aftermarket around 50,000 km ago. I am now thinking about getting an '04 PSD and was wondering if there is still the disc warping problem they had in '99 and '00???

get a 450 w/ a manning conversion. best truck ull ever own and not much more than a 350,but w/ twice the HEFT!
I hear the 05's have improvements. Not too impressed pulling my 16' flat bed empty when the trailer brakes stopped working. 15,000 mile no warping noted. 04 crew cab 4x4

That had to be exciting; did the truck manage to get the trailer stopped ok?
I think that the brakes on my F-250 are much better than those on the '98 F-150 that I had before. I have 22,000 miles on the truck now and about 7,000 - 8,000 of those were pulling my 30' toyhauler around.
So far I haven't noticed any signs of warpage or excess wear.
Ford has improved their disk brakes. I had a '97 Town Car and every other oil change was rotor turn or replace. All under warranty but a real pain in killing time. Knew it was their problem as my '94 Grand Cherokee had 97,000 before I had to change brakes.
Love the '04
I currently own a 2000 V10 and a 2003 6.0. The V10 has had warped rotors. The 6.0 has not with much heavier loads on it. The brakes on the 6.0 feel WAY better than that on the V10, a lot firmer and more responsive. But here is the real kicker... With the TorqueShift tranny, I hardly ever have to even touch the brakes going down 6% downgrade with 12000# on the tail. More tranny braking means using a lot less brakes. Using a lot less brakes means less chance to warp rotors, even if they were still prone to it. My opinion, though, the problem has been fixed.
