Actually you can leave the boost feature on all the time if you want. It will boost the initial braking by 12% at boost setting #1 or 24% at boost setting #2. But after the initial boost, the controller will ramp down or up to give the most effective stop. All it is really doing is giving the controller a head start, so to speak. If it doesn't need the additional boost, it automaticaly scales back. It's a great feature because you can get more initial stopping power without the drawback of locking or skidding the wheels if the extra effort isn't necessary. For normal stops, you won't be able to tell if the boost feature is on without looking at it.

I stand corrected. No need to turn it off anymore. Even better yet. I love this thing more and more evry time I pull.
