prodigy or primus
Does anyone have any thoughts on which one of these brake controllers would be best? I realize the prodigy is the higher end, but would anything be wrong with going with the primus? I am towing a 2800lb camping trailer, dual axles with brakes on each, with a 2002 Mountaineer. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Because the Primus is new, I'd stick with the Prodigy. Tekonsha had some software problems with the Prodigy when it was first introduced; that's been corrected and you know you're getting a highly recommended controller for a few more $$$.

I have a Primus and love it. Works great. No complaints. I really dont think there is much difference in the two. I think the Prodigy will do 4 axles, and the Primus only three. So unless your pulling a moble home or the USS Enterprise thats not much of a concern.
