However, having watched every episode of American Hot Rod, I have a very low opinion of Boyd, or my opinion of boyd was certainly not improved by watching the show....
I completely agree, but there is one thing that you need to give Boyd some credit for....At least as far as they body shop goes, he has hired some talented people....
What no wait what did I miss!!! lol. Hopefully they will have a re-run this weeekend. On the marathon on sunday I read the info on all of them (satelite) and it one of them was supposed to be the crazyhorse test, well all of the other infos matched up with the shows except that one
I think that there's another trucks marathon on Monday...
I think that the work that boyd's shop does is pretty good, I liked how they basically widdled a custom axle out of a chunk of aluminum. They have some really nice equipment to do it with though. I just don't really care for the way the channel has worked the show. That blue hotrod was made like 2 years ago, I saw it before. It's like they re-named the show and put it off as a brand new episode. Anyone else catch that? I like to watch them build the cars hoping to learn something, and it's taught me a little bit (like I didn't know they used lead for bodywork) but the show just doesn't cut it for me. It's almost identical to american chopper which I'm getting sick of that too. They need to keep the show fresh by changing it for the better, they havn't changed anything in the 2 seasons its been on. All it is is paul jr and sr screaming at eachother, mike being a mess, and vinny actually getting the work done.
Our VCR dont work and since we have a few DVD players...we never bothered to get a new VCR lol. But as soon as I got home i checked Spike TV and it was on! I got to see it and it was AWESOME. He did a really good job with that truck.
