So American Chopper finally got canned.
I came across this today
Autoblog: End of the road for American Chopper
Not really a surprise, although kind of a bummer because I used to be addicted to that show but I haven't watched it since Vinnie left. Plus after awhile it's pretty much the same old same old which gets really boring.

You know, I like how Senior had turned his life around...compared to how he lived in his youth. I never cared for Junior's work ethics...or in his case lake of it. I'm with your fordtruckman...I pretty much quite watching after Vinnie left. Rick was the only other one on the show that was some what real to me.

1. Pick theme for the bike
2. Get mad and beyotch about not getting parts and they always seem to get behind schedule
3. They always seem to finish the bike at the very last second
That is a typical American Chopper episode.
Awesome motorcycles though

I live within 20 miles of their shop. Most local people have a negative opinion of Sr. due to his egotistical attitude and the way he treats his kids and the public. That's why his kids treat him the way they do. I won't miss the show at all; the first few episodes were ok, but it went downhill real fast..............

The thing that I can't understand is this. You work with your dad, he's your dad for god sakes.
The two of these guys built one heck of a business, and also quite the marketing empire.
If it were me and I went home every night to a multi million dollar home, and drove to the parking lot in front of that building every day, I'd have to say as much as you didn't get along with someone there has to be some type of middle ground. It's foolish to break up such a successful business over things that should be so simple to fix.
I watch the show every week, mainly because it's the last of all the bike shows.I used to also watch Billy Lane and Indian Larry's shows when they were on before Larry died.
After a 10yr run I figured that they would cancel it,it's a long time for a show to air.
Just my thoughts on it.
