anyone watch his show last night ? i didnt care much for the handlebars or the exhaust pointing at the sky, but i like that they bulit the bike from scratch. i see they are trying to do the same excat format as american chopper, but still i like it. that old guy reminds me of every biker i know lol
Randy Simpson has been building bikes for years. They build the 'ole school' type bikes. I'd like to see Discovery channel go to S.C. and do a show with Redneck Engineering
(We don't give a damn how they do it on the west coast!!!).
I didn't think it was as good as American Chopper. The show just dind't feel right. I know the old guy knew his stuff but he would drive me nuts with that laugh of his.
Handlebars should have chrome on them. Painting them doesn't appeal to me.
I saw it last night. I liked the part when the boss went postal and started shooting up the place with the paint ball gun.
There was so many cuss words that it was almost like a silent movie. They did too much welding and grinding without eye protection, not showing a good example of safe work practices.
Was it me or did you think from time to time that what they were saying was on American Chopper. I loved the old guy and his laid back style. I also love the fact that he shot his boss with the paintball gun from about three feet away.
i guess discovery channel is trying to capitalize on the hit of american chopper, if they dont be carfull they are going to burn out the viewers with all this.
I just flipped past it a few times, but it sure amazed me to see a place called "Milwaukee Iron" in Lynchburg, TN I assume?...........weird someone would want to use the Milwaukee name
I always thought Milwaukee Iron was old Kearney & Trecker's
It was very similar to American Chopper. I also enjoyed the show where they build the hot rods from the ground up. I find myself tuning into The Discovery Channel more often to catch these shows. At least for now, they're all better than the network re-runs!!
Reruns Hell, prime time programming has just turned into one giant vanilla wafer. Somebody has a hit (defined as "not a flop") and then its copied to death.
