A/C Dryer Reciever
I have a 98 Explorer 5.0 V8. What I believe the Dryer/receiver is in my truck(right side close to FR wheel well. Cylindrical 5"~ long 2.5"~ wide with in/out lines) have what appears to be Green oil leaking under it. I was told that it is from the Refrigerant Dye leaking so you can identfy the leaker easier. The pad wrapped around the Dryer/Receiver is soaked in it as well-which leads me to believe its the source. I still have a/c only not nearly as fast or cold as last year.
Can I repl this my self? Im pretty handy with tools do a lot my own repairs I have never had a problem with A/C so i dont know what to do-besides go to a shop and spend too much!!!! But im willing to buy tools and learn

OK i looked it up so i can call it the right name haynes refers to it as the ACCUMULATOR/DRIER. you need the following to remove it:

The coupling tool (I think there are 3 different sizes for Ford) is needed to disconnect the lines going to the bottle. They are cheap and you can get them most anywhere. Not sure what the wrench is that you referred to. Make sure sure you drain the pressure from the system before pulling the lines.
