receiver/dryer question

I am in the process of doing a complete re-install of my AC system with all new components. I am a few days out to get my final hoses made so probably won't be able to charge up the system until next week sometime.

I would like to hook up the line that goes from the condenser to the evaporator as well as install the dryer/receiver right now as that would let me put the grill and bumper back on. The other ends of the system waiting for hoses are all still capped. Would this be ok, or should I wait until I have the rest of the system completely done before putting on the dryer?

I'm getting pretty good at taking the grill and bumper off, so it probably isn't a big deal to wait if it is important. I'm trying my best to do this as 'right' as possible.

I don't hook up a dryer until about the last minute.

Hooking up the dryer to hoses, other parts, etc. and capping those ends for a longer period starts to use the moisture-absorbing function of the dryer.

Instead, by uncapping and installing the dryer LAST, then getting the vacuum pump running, all the moisture-absorbing capacity of the dryer will be saved for the operating, closed system.

If it were me, I'd also put it in last, and leave the bumper and grill off so that you can verify that there are no leaks at the dryer fittings when the system is up and running, before you button up those body parts and it will become hard to get to.
