In cab gas tanks were available until 1976 or mid 77. I agree with Rick, get a 73-79.

Talking Congratulations Dwardle.

Does this mean we'll see it and you at the Arthur Mercury Ford Truck Nationals on August 15th and 16th?

Rick.

Sure, I'm assuming this is in Arthur? That's not too far of a drive. I'm hoping to have it cleaned up and some engine work done soon too. Does anyone here deal with StreetTech Performance in KW? Scott's awesome with Fords and gets good prices on Edelbrock, FordRacing and tons of other parts and he's an awesome guy.

Hopefully I'll at least have exhaust, intake and carb done by August

Yes it's right in Arthur.

And whole lot closer to you than to me LOL.

Are you keeping it flatbed or putting it back to a box?

Eventually back to box, and if anyone knows someone with a shortbox let me know. But for now I'd rather spend my money making sure it runs and sounds good.

Nice find dwardle!

What's the drivetrain? 302 4 speed?

My cousins who are hardcore Mustangers deal with StreetTech, I believe.

Tell us a little about your truck.

Do you attend the Canadian Mercury Ford Truck Nationals?

This year aug, 15th and 16th in Arthur Ontario just west of OrangeVille and north of Guelph.

Rick.

Rick,
Thanks for the welcome message. I purchased my F100 over a year ago from Tennesse
and it is quite solid and original. Nothing special.....it was a farm truck but it suits me.
Original paint was badly faded and is now at my friends shop being prepped for a paint
job and also some interior refurbishing. I'll get some pictures up when it is completed.
The nationals sound enticing but my wife and I plan to be in Alberta on that date.
Regards,
Carl

P.S. from Carl,
Are there any Canadian suppliers for interior trim?
I need seat upholstery cover, arm rests, floor mat, and dash pad
for starters.

You can try Special interest cars in Oakville.

The guy that owns it is call Ray, be patient with him though because he is set in his ways.

He doesn't let everyone browse the entire place, quite a treat and takes some time to do, but if you're nice and patient he may let you.

Rick.

Thanks Rick......I know Special Interest very well and I was given the "tour"
by Max Griffiths when I was looking for parts for my Ford Cortina. Max is a
great guy but you are more diplomatic in your opinion of Ray than I would be.
I consider them the source of last resort because, as you point out, they are
so slow in responding.
Carl
