Good morning Carl, I buy the majority of all my parts from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard now.
It's been my experience that they are the best price and will ship US postal service which is way cheaper than UPS or FedEx and if the part is made in Canada USA or Mexico there is no Duty.
I got a full front to back carpet factory colour delivered to my front door for $280.00 taxes and delivery included.
Marc P. currently of Ottawa, recently of SoCal. '97 F250 PSD 4x4 and the wife's '02 Escape XLT. Left behind in California with the folks an '86 F150 4.9 CID 4x4 and an '86 4.9 CID Bronco, among other vehicles some Ford some not.
Lots of in-laws here for one. Also, CA has more people in it than all of Canada, with the coastal towns seriously overcrowded. The meanest 2 bedroom single story house lists for $750,000 back home.
Bronco and F150 are both mostly in great shape, except for the ridiculous smog gear. Devil of a time adjusting the timing on the F150, it has two sets of teeth, neither of which seem pertinent. The Bronco has two sets, and uses the drivers side (yes, we remembered the SPOUT). The big straight sixes are a blast, easy to work on and rarely needing it.
The Bronco is relatively new to the family, found it for a steal on craigslist in the summer. It needs tires, and a lift would be nice, but it has such an awesome turning radius I'd like to not interfere with that.
Unfortunately I just heard this morning either the needle valve broke or the float sank on the Bronco.
And of course something like that never happens at home where you can work on it. But it shouldn't be long until it is on the road again.
There are creek crossings which can be quite dangerous back home, and at times you don't bother trying even with the trucks. I feel a little bad I took the best high water crossing vehicle (the F250 PSD), but it was also the nicest to drive across the country as well as tow a laden down trailer.
