Denison- the B28605 indicates a scheduled build date of May 67. Check out Thom's website '67fordtruck.com' for a ton of great info on 67's.

Looks like mike’s turning out to be the VIN man, here’s a little help:

F10 - F100 4x2
Y – 360 cid V8 215 gross hp, 8.4:1 cr
C – Ontario, Canada assembly plant
F14237 – consecutive unit number (#’s ran from D82000-G29999)

115 – wheelbase in inches
MU – two-tone exterior Wimbledon White/Lunar Green
F100 – 5,000 GVW
M81 – black vinyl interior, conventional cab
G – automatic transmission
17 – 3.25 Ford rear axle
05000 - GVW
175 – net horsepower rating
4000 – rpm of hp rating
22 – Charlotte district code

Thanks, Barry. Got to give credit to Keith for such a handy resource, though. There is some question as to the accuracy of scheduled build date numbers in the 69 shop manual but the F14237 could possibly be a May 69 build. Again, other date codes on the truck can be checked to pin the date down.

Looks like a 1969 F600

F61 - F600 23,000 GVW
D - 330HD V8 2V 164net hp @ 3800rpm (190gross hp, 306tq @ 2000rpm)
C - Ontario assembly plant
E57100 - consecutive unit number

F25 = F250 4x2

Y = 360 2V FE gas V8

R = San Jose Assembly Plant

F90498 = 1969 numerical series. This is within the range shown for 1969. (D82,001 - G90,000) But it is beyond what the shop manual and the above source show as the last numbers for '69, F63,999. So figure late production.
