Coolant Filter 6L?
Neither the International VT 365 nor the Ford Power Stroke versions of this engine (6.0L) have a coolant filter mounted to the engine nor do they have, as far as I know, one in the chassis. The T444E International engine and the Ford H215 engines (used in the F650 and F750) did indeed have coolant filters attached to the engine.

Don't know if the new ones will come stock with a coolant filter.
I am using one on the Enterprise. I don't see why they aren't standard issue since we have to run DCA's.

OK, I'll bite -- what are DCA's? If you are talking about (something) Coolant Additives, you only have to add it if you have a vehicle with the green coolant. If you have a 2002 (or newer) Ford or Navistar truck (the exceptions to that are Fords built in Mexico and Econoline vans -- as far as I know neither of these plants are using the new coolant) the coolant additive is unnecessary. Navistar is using the Texaco OAT coolant (red) and Ford is using an ethylene glycol based coolant (yellow) manufactured by Valvoline.
