NHL playoff action

seems to me that the Flames / canucks series is the best match going this round. Crowds seem the noisiest, and it seems that a lot more people are are into this match up from what ive seen on tv

2 nights ago it was Pure Hockey at its best

I don't miss going to the Flames games anymore.

I can't take the loud lousy music they play now.

They always seem to ask the fans to cheer the team to do better.

How about the players do something to make the fans cheer ?

true, but the playoff experience is something to witness first hand.

not a big flames fan, but making it into the post season really does alot for morale in the city

For damn sakes, dump and chase, thats been the flames standby for as long as I can remember. Not much chance of coming back from behind when you keep shooting it in..

I'm a huge Vancouver fan. A few of my buddies moved to Calgary a few years ago, and they are die hard Canucks fans also. They are in their element right now, being in a hockey town. Sure, they got to watch their *****, but they say it's the best hockey they've seen.

Vancouver and Calgary don't like each other much. After tonights win, Calgary will like Vancouver even less. Also after tonights win, Vancouver has gone 10 straight games unbeaten in the Saddledome.

One thing I noticed in the last few years is, since lots of Vancouverites moved to Calgary (for better work opportunities) there is almost as many Canucks fans in Calgary as there are Flames fans. You wouldn't know it by the attendance at tonights game though. It's more prominent during the regular season.

No, I've never been to Jobrite. I know where they are, though. A 2 minute drive from where I work. Get this. Their "shop truck" is a Chevy. Believe me. I've seen it.

Nothing against the Flames and Canucks Series but all the games have been great. The rivaleries between these teams have been going on for years
Toronto and Ottawa
Boston and Montreal
Philly and New Jersey
Colorado and Dallas

I've been watching at least a little of every game I can, and I can't remember the all the teams being this evenly matched. Great hitting in all the games!!!
Go Flyers!!!

Went to game 1 of the Flyers/Devils series, and it was truly playoff hockey! The crowd was way into the game, the players (well, the Flyers at least), played their, um, jewels off, and it was repeated in game 2. Tonight, the Devs may show up to play in NJ, but like CodaSmog says...there's some of the best rivalries going in this first round.

Playoff hockey is the best live experience around! All the regular season games my son (14) and I have been to are great, but NOTHING compares to this time of year.

We're booking our Round 2 tickets today!!! GO FLYERS!!!!
