I was just wonderin if any of yall have an r/c truck or car. (not the kind you buy from radio shack, the REAL ones). I have a T-maxx 2.5 and an E-maxx. Anyone else out there know what kind of charger to get for the E-maxx. I have been using cheep 1500 mah packs but i want to get some 7 cell 3000mah packs. Oh BTW, my t-maxx has a black Superduty body on it. I am a ford man ya know

Yeah, i have a nitro MT somthing or other, 4 wheel drive truck, the thing hauls bigtime, i love it. Its so much fun, its just crazy fast, flying, the cool thing is, it sits up high enough, that when (yes when) i run into curbs, it just slides up onto them and no damage is done, if it sat about 1 inch lower, i'd need about 5 new bumpers

Where can you buy the RC trucks? I would love to get into them, but don't know where to look.

I've got a Clod Buster. I've had it for years.. still works, but I think it needs one or two parts to be 100%. I haven't run it in years, I've been using R/C electric planes more so lately.

You can find them at:

www.towerhobbies.com
www.horizonhobby.com

You can start there... they are two big distributors.

Many of your local hobby shops will have kits also. Some even have assy services but it is best to build your own from a kit so you know how it works and can repair it.

I used to run two Losi's, A truck and a buggy. Strictly 6-cell stock dirt track racing. If there was anywhere around here to race I would still be doing it.

Just running your truck is OK but racing other people around a track is way more FUN!

I usually run my truck in my backyard, of course i live in the country so i have a big backyard. You could run them on the street amd there are also race tracks for R/C vehicles. I'd be willing to bet there is a track in your area. Your right about them being expensive. I had to work for a LONG time before i had the money for mine. It was worth it though.

Hey badracer, how are you likin that savage 21. I saw one of those beside a maxx the other day and that thing was huge. I would love to have one of those, but i think im going customize my E-maxx and put brushless motors on it

Clod Buster I have more than 60 hours in detaling it, way too much time one my hands.
Also have road cars and a snow cat, which is a blast when it snows.
Have friend that would pull his two small kids in a red wagon around the yard with his CB

Hey 79driver, the Savage is Awesome! Got bored and ran it next to my buddies truck, it does around 40 after I tuned it, thinking about adjusting the mid range needel but don't think I can get more out of it untill I can afford some more parts. A tuned pipe is next on my list.....or the dual exhaust set up would be sweet, don't know about the performence tho. There is nothing small about the Savage, wait till you see the Team Associated GT monster, its a little bigger than the Savage but not neer as fast!!!!

You going with Novak's motors and ESC? Now thats a pricey set up but Very NICE! I was thinking of getting that set up for my Losi XXXT but I ranther burn Nitro then Electric at this point in time, just fill her up and keep going.

I've got an OFNA Monster Blazer with a force 21. The thing just screams but doesn't have enough ground clearance. Thinking about converting it to a buggy and getting a bigger truck.

Ya, im waiting for the system designed specificly for the E-maxx to come out. My t-maxx 2.5 will go 40 but its so unstable its insane. The tires start to balloon out then when you touch the steering the thing crashes and goes end over end. My e-maxx hit a stump the other day broke the whole front end basically. I even cracked the front diff housing.

I just sold all of my R/C Stuff, I had a traxxas rustler stadium truck and a tamiya tl01 street car. Oh well, more money for my bronco I guess.

Ya, my friend has the 2.5 T-maxx, were actually going out with it later today. Anyway, yes 40 is insanely unstable, and we were just in the hobby shop yesterday picking up a new flywheel, at least that’s what I call it, the plastic gear on the tranny, and they had smaller ones to make it even faster. We’re currently running the scoop style tires, and take it out to a gravel mine. We also picked up a “tuned” muffler and that seems to help the top end.
