Not trying to take anything away from the Pats but the eagles looked like they gave up in the last 2 minutes. Walking up to the line, going to huddle while the clock was running. And Mcnabb looked beat. I have to agree with Rush. Donovan is not an exceptional player.
it's too bad so many philly fans put mortgages on their homes just to go to florida to see the game, now they hafta pay on that debt for who knows how long

p.s. didn't really care who won...ain't a fan of either team...ain't a big fan of any pro team....college boys play harder for less than them pro fellas do....give them college boys a well-deserved hand....
I was glad to see Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens, Freddie Mitchell and the rest of the swaggering Philadelphia Eagles be denied the championship. I said in another forum that the closer the score the more it favored the Patriots. Tom Brady & Co. were the better team from the get go and McNabb truly gave away any chance he had in his 2nd to last drive where he wasted valuable time off the clock. Terrell Owens show boated too early, Freddie Mitchell talked too much and McNabb proved he wasn't what the media hoped he'd be. The Eagles played well for the most part but not good enough in the end. The Patriots are truly worthy of all the accollades this dynasty clinching Superbowl will bring. I'm a die hard Broncos fan but I could not be any happier to see such a classy team become the 1st dynasty of the 21st century. Soak it up Patriots you deserve it.
Sharpshhooter- I couldn't have said better as a fellow Bronco fan. It's good to see the team concept isn't lost completely. I hope they win three more.
Obvisously it's something those people really enjoy and are willing to do and being that you only live once then why not live it to the fullest? The tickets may cost them an arm and leg but the memories will be much more valuable. It's not like they're paying $3,600 to watch a couple guys play a pick up game or even a high school game....it's the Superbowl. It's not often you get the chance to go so if that is what someone wants to do then so be it. Just because you wouldn't do it doesn't mean it's "not smart". Besides you're undermining the fact that the great athletes who have participated in a tremendous sporting event. What's important here is that the Patriots have cemented their legacy and truly are a world class organization. I'd like to be in Boston right now for the after party.
The Eagles blew that game early IMO. Plus the last 3 minutes they seemed tired and weren't really focused. I know that odds are against you down by 10 so late in the game, but if you really want it, then play like you want it. From playing HS football and losing in the 2nd round of state playoffs my senior year bc over half the team losing heart after going down by 14 in the first half, I know that there is no way to win if you don't believe in yourself or want it more than the other team. The Eagles didn't want to win, or at least, they didn't act like they wanted to win. T.O. had a big catch there at the end, I don't like his attitude, but the boy can play, just imagine cutting back on the leg, that must hurt like crap. I have some respect for the Eagles, but they just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I can't stand the patriots, so I really don't like the outcome of the game. Had the falcon's played the pats, I think they may have wanted it a little more, but thats my 2 cents on it. Man, I wish the Jags had gone, they woulda been playin at home , lol, and I would have paid the money for tickets had I had the money for it. Maybe in a few years after I get a nice paying job and use my edumacation that I am receiving at this fine learning institution
The little oompa loompa guy in his little suit saying the eagles dominated the first 1/4 is an idot. yes they made a couple of first downs...but dominated?
Anyway...I feel better.
Is Bruschi the man or what? I can't believe it will be his first invite to the pro bowl.
1/2 time show was awesome.
All Americans singing classic Beatles tunes...
