those things that look like cats are not cats, cats are made to reduce hydrocarbons--which diesel engines do not produce. Those canisters are sort of smog reducers and are a sorry excuse to look like they are helping the environment.

Get the gauges and a larger tranny pan. Don't let your temps go over 200 degrees. When the torque converter does go out get a billet aluminum one and hold on.

if you dont have the cash for a 4" and dont have a CAT, straight-pipe it! any little thing will help!

Banks 4 in turbo back no cat. Gauges too!!!!!!! larger intake to help that truck breathe.

so i could just do muffler and cat delete pipes and run the stock exhaust pipe and be ok, right? what about downpipe?
