Well hello to all. I am new to the site and i have been readin some articles on fella's who have un-plugged the wastegate on there turbos. I am a proud owner of a '96 powerstroke, and i would like to unplug my wastegate but i dont know where it is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Look on the intake side of the turbo it looks like a little round brass canister with a long metal rod that connects to the turbo. Disconnect the red hose from it and plug it. This is how you do it. Welcome to the forum.
