That is correct, the windshields will interchange from 67 to 79. There is some differences in the gasket design as to chrome moulding, and a lock strip in the 78-9 years, but the glass is the same.

I went the cheap way, and went to Home Depot and got a piece of plexiglass. Fits and works perfect, AND I don't have to worry about putting my rear through it again.
