1950 Chrome Bumpers

Can any one tell me if chrome bumpers were aoption on 1950 F1 trucks ?

No, they were not a factory option for any of the 48-52 truck lines. I checked the 1950 Salesmans handbook, the 1952 handbook and my Ford parts catalogs, and all say painted black bumpers were standard. No mention of chrome anywhere.

Thanks, We want to keep the truck original, I see so many with chrome I thought it may have been an option.
