Slippage *UPDATE*
hi everybody...
i posted last week that i was getting slipping at hard acceleration in my 95xlt manual.
i talked to the shop this morning, (they were scheduled to put in a clutch today)
turns out that the clutch is not slipping at all, but that there is some misfiring...it's running on 4cyl.
so he's going to do a major tuneup, and do all the plugs, filters, pcv, wires...yada yada.
he says that should solve it, but if not he's going to check the coil. (?)
hopefully this is good news, and all the truck needs.
my bill so far for the day has gone from 720 to 250...i'm not upset about that.
any thoughts or concerns i should have?..
