Dear People who are smarter than I am-
I have a 1987 Bronco fullsize, with the stock 5 litre in it. As far as I can tell, it is a california truck, but since it is an 87 and not an 88, it has the speed density set-up instead of the mass air. The motor is gutless, and I want to put a bigger cam to pull the 35's. I was wondering what all i need to convert to mass air. It has the 4-speed auto tranny. Can i use a 5.0 mustang computer with a truck mass air sensor from the junk-yard and then the wiring conversion? Should I just find a newer bronco in the junk-yard and strip the computer and mass air and then buy the wiring adapter? I read on the internet that it is not even possible to do a conversion to mass air with the 4 speed OD tranny? Thanks for the help.
