87 300 speed density to mass air conversion.

hello,

i have a 87 f150 w/300 6 cyl using speed density. i also have a 92 taurus v6 w/mass air and a bad tranny.

can i swap over the parts from the taurus to get mass air on my 300 SD?

i am more familiar with the way that mass air works, unfortunalty i know nothing about speed density.

i know that the mass air meter would need to be changed (use a 5.0 meter)

just a thought.

thanks
