5.0 MAF on a 92 5.8

I am trying to line up parts to convert my 1992 Bronco 5.8/e40d to a mass air system. Since up here in Vancouver Canada it is near impossible to get 5.8 mass air parts I have some questions about using 5.0 mass air parts to run my 5.8. There are a few trucks kicking around here that I can throw together all the parts needed for my conversion.

Questions:
1) Since my truck has a flat tappet cam will the mass air computer from the 1994+ roller motors have an issue with this?

2) I have read in several post that the 5.0 mass air computer runs the 5.8 beautifully and will compliment the small amount of mods I have done (full exhaust, some head work, no cats)

3) I did read in one post that the 5.0 mass air computer runs the 5.8 a little lean. Any truth to this?

4) I checked all the pin locations for both truck computers on FordFuelInjection and they seem very close. Would there be any issues if I swap in the whole Ecc wiring harness? thought doing that would save me a little time.

Yes that is correct.

No that would apply to SD though.

If you can find a MAF harness from the exact same year as yours then yes, but otherwise it is assembled differently and will not be a direct swap.

www.dunne-rite.com is a great place to get a maf conversion. It costs a few bucks but its a lot easier than butchering a harness or trying to steal one off of a unsuspecting neighbors pickup haha jk. I got my kit from www.mass-air.com their kit is much more expensive but comes with more.
