Im just gonna party and have fun. Ive decided to join the Marines out of high school and after boot camp sign active duty. My best friend said that she was gonna cry when I leave and HATES that Im signing active, Ive had a crush on her for about 2 years now. She has alot of friends but Im one of two that actually mean somthing to her and I dont wanna ruin that by tellin her Ive had a crush on her for along time but any ways. I have 4 best friends so I feel fortunate, shes the only one thats a girl. Thanks for the offer of comming down here to help lol. Your welcome any time. I think Ill be fine though, I got plenty of friends that like to fight. Im not big (120 lbs) but I can hold my own and a little more. I dont think you just have to big to fight, just quick and mean. Im deffenetly not going to get cocky though, not with this guy lol.

lol I was thinking about it, but decided Marines. I love airforce and all, but if I were gonna go AF the only way I really wanted to go was through the Acadamy in Co Springs? My grades arent good enough and I like the whole "we pay for college" deal the Marines have lol.

 

Um all the services have the we pay for college they ALL have the EXACT same programs as far as taht is concerned, curently 100 tuition assistance for cactive duty, up to a certain amount per year, and the same amount on the GA bill


trust me you will be jealous of the life us AF guys live....like I am at work right now. :P

I dunno though I have gone back and forth on Marine, Airforce, Marine, Airforce. What convinced me though to go Marines is My hockey coaches are both Marines, and there like family to me. I cant really explain why but I just wanna go Marines.
Curious though, what do you do for the Airforce? Besides surf FTE

 

I had a friend who tried to get in to the Marines, but he had to get medically discharged because he broke his legs during boot camp (stress fractures) at Parris Island. He tried to get in the National Guard later on and the same thing happened again. He's going to college now into auto mechanics. Guess sometimes things just don't work out.

 

What insrument did you play? I play tombone in a jazz group and a concert band, and then Bass guitar at my church

 

Oh I forgot to mention my best friend that I have had a crush on for 2 years, she drives an 04 FORD STX! Kinda outta know where but I forgot to mention that like 6 posts ago lol.

LOL nahh I love my baby. Next time we hang out Im gonna see if she'll let me drive it. She wont go muddin though . Its 2wd but I assured her Id pull her out. Shes cool as all heck though.

Wezol. I am a Weapons System Controller, or i.e. I work at MOC. I coordinate flying events with maintnance, track all maintnance events on the aircraft on the flightline or in hangers. I dispatch backshops to aircrat in need of maintnance, I create job numbers for these 15 backshops. I track parts on order for these aircraft, I make sure things keep on schedule. And keep up with all eta s onmaintnance completion on various aircraft and their current flyable status. I maintanin teh flying schedule and make rquired changes requested my operations, required due to maintnance, or due to otehr varying factors, be it weather or birds or what not.

There is so much up here at work good God you just dont want to know trust me, the reason it looks like I am on here alot is the fact ath I can type fast enough to sit there and flip from one to the other really quickly, and that I take care of this is lulls, on occasion, like this week (knock on wood) we have an easy week tomorrow will be REALLY easy, we are only flying 3 planes instead of 40.

I started on bass clarinet, I also learned to play, clarinet, contra bass, alto/tenor/barry sax. Trombone, baritone, Tuba (militry marching tuba, the one that sits on your shoulder. (I am a little guy to) french horn and trumpet...basically everything but flute oboe and bassoon
