The past several years it has been getting better and better! The terrific number of great drivers is amazing, and the competitiveness of the different cars as well. So much talent. Can't wait until the new Mercedes team gets fine tuned. Glad to see Lotus back in it too.
I would like to see Schumy winning again, but he has been far from the tracks for a while and things changed a lot since then, but it definitely would be nice seeing that.
me and the Mrs are off to Silverstone (British GP ) this year , never been before but thought we'd give it a go.........as its so much better watched on TV.
she thinks she may bump into Michael himself , i told her the best she can hope for is if she can get him to wave to her as he goes past , that may do......
so have to buy new camera with zooooooom , wake up at the crack of dawn as we are lodging 45 miles away in a hotel on the motorway (facing the wrong way) and leave the MIL (mother in law) at home with the kids for the weekend.
cant decide whats worse , the cost , the miles or the mother in law lol
Last FI I attended was the USGP at Indy when they had the Michelin tire screw-up. So we had the Ferraris in front and the back markers laps behind. None of the cars and drivers I cared about even ran.
IMO FI has been getting better every year for the last three years. The level of competition is just amazing. No mfgr seems to have a car that is dominant on every track. And so much talent. Six or eight of the drivers are capable of being the champ given a good reliable ride.
The Mrs & Me had a great time , great seats , we could see all the way from down the new wellington straight to copse corner. We sat in woodcote A stand , great views. they have done wonders for the circuit , an extra half mile of action,
cant believe the weather held out , we had rain early sat morning about 15 mins away from the circuit but nothing when we got there. shame as it would have mixed things up a bit.
for those that have not actually gone to a GP before , its a must , the sound is so loud it shakes the glass of beer in your hand as they go past, and when they were coming into the pits or changing gear its like a gun going off, the TV just does not give it justice
will deffo be going again but will really need a better camera for next time. as this only had 3x zoom
