That's where I got my SSR's, from 4wheelparts. Do you think a company of that size would sell me factory seconds? This was the first time I've ever bought anything from them. They ARE pretty good with warrenteeing stuff though.
Well, seeing that 4wheelparts is the BIGGEST wholesale/retail distributor in the US and is owned by ProComp, I would imagine that they would get better quality product than some of the smaller guys, but like you said anything could of happened.
I'm supposed to get those tires today, so we'll see if this fixes the problem. If it does, I'll take back all the bad stuff I said about swampers.
nah, doesn't work. Problem is that it does not work well on tires that are deflated and inflated frequently because it clogs the schrader valve. And the problem with my two defective tires is that they are out of round, not just out of balance. 4wheelparts was pretty good about warrantying them so far. They will UPS Call Tag the bad ones once I have the new ones switched out. Hopefully, this will finally solve my problem and I can take "tire nightmares" off of my signature line.
Plus, the sand that you put in your tires is only good for a few ounces. When your tire needs a 5 pound dumbell duck-taped to the inside of the wheel just to balance it, there is nothing you can do except send the tire back.
You are correct, changing the pressures frequently doesn't suit Equal well. Weight is limited also. Works great for vehicles that spend alot of time on the road and minimal off.
