I need ya'lls advice.
I bought the truck with 102k on the odometer. The truck had a new transmission (reciepts provided). I thought it was a good deal. I bought it. Now almost 2 years later this happens.
I parked pointed uphill in a parking lot and shut the engine off. After letting the clutch out (in 1st gear) and letting off the brake, it started to roll backwards. Hoping for the best, I checked the clutch and couldn't find anything. After putting it into 5th and trying it again, Ipopped the hood and to my horror, the engine was turning backwards as the truck studdered while rolling.
What could be the cause of this, and what would I do to fix it?
The truck is the one in the Signature PSD of course
Optical illusion, quite a trick, truck rolling, engine truning backward, getting the hood up and looking inside without getting run over. Probably in the rush of things the engine wasn't turning backwards it just looked like it was. Anyway if it is running OK now don't worry about it.
Parking Brake, Yeah I know that other trucks have one but even after having cables replaced and drums adjusted, mine still doesn't work. I'm in the process of making a Tcase mounted parking brake but it is all hand fabricate since it seems that all of the trucks that they are made for are toyotas, or military rigs. If any body has one please provide info.
