Ok here's one for ya'll. A F250 and a F350 that are the same.
The front of the 250 has two more pounds, The back three more pounds
making it 5 more pounds heavier curb weight than the F350. Does anyone know what
items are heavier and why?
Model /Wheelbase/ Cab Style/ Front / Rear / Total Weight/
lets start a new FTE theme song.... we can call it, kum ba ya. just think, we could all be closet lovers and not let anyone know.
oh.... crap, that is part of the fte moderator training manual i was just reading... apparently yeti is writing it and is making specific mentions to being hog-tied and milvans while visiting the training campus in anaheim!?!!?
oh yeah.... i was wondering if i could get these new 49" swampers under a stock truck.... of course i'd be willing to put on some of those cool fender flares.... but only if they come out less than an inch.... do you guys think i could do it on my f-250... or would i need to get an f-350??

It's those extra beefy F-250 badges...
They make them "heavier dutier" than the tinsel thin F-350 badges. On average each F-250 badge is just over 1.5 lbs heavier.
90% of the stuff that gets discussed on this board is done over and over and over again. It's the new guys, of whcih we all were once, asking the same questions over and over again. If you want to chase everybody off go ahead and keep your little club of know it alls so the rest can come here and pay homage to ya! You too, abendex. Other wise leave it alone, it's a forum that people get information from and discuss ideas, they may not be the ones you feel like reading oevr and over again but it's lets new people on board. Hell you might even meet someone you want to talk to again...

So we will forget that I ever mentioned it and continue on the way it was.

Does this mean we don't want to come up with an improved FAQ at all? I still think it would be a good idea - I still ask lots of stupid questions that could be in an FAQ.
