I am going to be mounting 35 x 12.5 r 15 Pro Comp Xterrains on 15 x 8 or 10 inch weld scorpios and was wondering which is the better rim width. I wanted the 10 inch wide rims because of the deep look the wider rim would give. But, I was told today that the 8 inch wide rims would make the tires look beefier and theyd also be cheaper. (good thing because welds are so expensive) Would like to hear any opinions on this.

I've had 33x12.50s on both 8" and 10" wheels. The 10" wheels looked WAY better to me.

I'm using a 10" Also. But it can depend on your set up. Wider wheels take a little more room when turning. And dont give as much rim protection as a narrower wheel will. It all depends on what your doing with them. Bottom line, what you like and are going to be happy with is the right choice. Its your cash after all.
