What is the best size rim for a 33x12.5x15 tire? Will a 8.5 in wide rim work well?

I have seen people run 12.50's on 8" rims but it is cuttin it pretty close. See if you can return the wheels they should take em back if you havent mounted any tires on them. I would run 10" wide because it lets the tire put most of the footprint on the ground.

I am gonna try it with the 8in rims.I don't plan to be doing any heavy off roadin with the truck because it is only a 2wd.However,I just want it to look a little meaner and sit a bit higher so I think it will be allright.I would put them on 10in but I am worried about rub.Do you think they will rub?

If you are not doing any offroading then they should be ok on an 8" rim.......although not ideal it will sit higer on an 8 inch rim but the tires will wear from the center tread out until it flattens itself out because of it being wider in the center from compressing it onta a skinnier rim.
