I have read that with a 6 inch lift the biggest recomended tire size is 35 x 12.5 but I was looking into getting 15 x 12 weld scorpio rims with 36 inch tires and was wondering if there were any problems with this. Is there going to be a problem with rubbing and if so could i just not get an extended radius arm and not get as much wheel travel to avoid rubbing? I am guessing that the tires would be about 14.5 inches wide to fit on a 12 inch wide rim.

 

I believe you can fit 36s with 6" of lift. I know 4"s yeilds 35"s quiet easily.

I'd assume it's an 88..so with 6"s I'm pretty sure you can run 36". Add a 3" body and I KNOW you can run 38" tires.

 

Unless you regear and beef it up some, I'd keep it to 35's if you have a 4.1 rear. The lift is not the only thing to take into consideration expecially if it will be offroad much.

 

if thats an 88 fullsize, then that would be plenty of lift. Ihave an 87 with 4 inches and run 35/12.50 swampers and have plenty of clearance
