f100guy, I may be splitting hairs, but I have to disagree with your use of the word "great" in reference to 6x9s. In the complete realm of car audio speakers, 6x9s would rank far down the list.

if you get a good set of fronts and your truck doesnt have rear speaker already then i wouldnt worry about them. what i would do is run the fronts off a amp you will be amased at how much better and cleaner they sound off an amp. and depending how much bass you want you can put 2 12's behind your seat with out much problem ( gotta move the seat ahead a little) and then run those off a mono block amp. if you want to spend a little more $$$ for the fronts then i would get a set of components
