I wanted to know how i can mount 6x9's where my 6x8's were. I got some 6x9's at a good deal so i bought them I now need to get them into the truck. I have a 95 Reg cab and the stock speakers are at a angle is there a way to put the 6x9's in the same spot thanks.

 

anythings possilbe, but with what u proposed u have a lot of work ahead of u. i have a 93 f-150 regular cab and wouldnt want to attempt this. but if u really want to this is what u have to do. 1st would be remove the old speaker and grill and mark the holes for the 6x9"s, next u would have to get a rotary tool and about 40 cut off disc becuz ur gunna have to cut a good amout of metal to make them fit. next u would have to some how make sure the magents dont stick to the side of the cab. and i would go with a dnyo mat for inside for clearer sound. this s just a brief how-to. some one else has posted this question b4 so search for it to get a more in depht procedure. if u just want to replace ur speakers with 6x8"s pioneer make a nice set that is made to fit in the facotry grill thingy, i bought mine at wal-mart.

 

TS-A6857 series ($60 at Walmart). I installed them in the rear of my Explorer and they are pretty good. I think Im going to go with the 6867 series up front though.
